當你需要別人幫助時，挑一個看起來可以給你答案的人，並要有禮貌地詢問對方，將自己要去的地點表達清楚，好讓別人協助你指引方向。

1. go straight 直走
Q：Excuse me. Could you please tell me how to get to the CT hospital?
不好意思，請問CT醫院該怎麼去？
A：Go straight for one block. It's on the corner of Thomas Road and First Street.
順著這條路直走過一個街區，它位於托馬斯路和第一街的轉角處。
2. go past 經過
Q：Excuse me. Could you tell me where the Nab bank is?
不好意思，請問Nab銀行該怎麼去？
A：Go past the post office. The Nab bank is in front of it.
經過郵局，銀行就在它的前面。
3. go down 往下走
Q：Excuse me. How can I get to the Garden Hotel?
不好意思，請問花園酒店怎麼去？
A：Go down this street for two blocks, and then turn right at the first traffic light. It's on your right hand.
往這條街下面走兩條街區，然後在第一個紅綠燈右轉，它就在你的右手邊。
4. across the street 對街
Q：Excuse me. Could you tell me the way to the Empire State Building?
不好意思，請問帝國大廈怎麼走？
A：When you reach the City Hall station, take exit 4 and you'll see the Empire State Building across the street.
當你到了市政廳站時走四號出口，然後就能看到對街的帝國大廈了。
