公告結構與常見句型

雖然考生無法預測公告的主題，可是許多公告都擁有類似的結構，而且某些句型經常出現在公告中。藉由熟悉這些結構與句型，考生可以更容易理解公告的重點，也更容易回答閱讀理解題。

讓我們用以下的公告範例，分析公告的結構與常見句型：

The Green Horizon Bank (GHB) is pleased to announce that we will be awarding ten (10) $2,500 scholarships to high school seniors. The applicant's parent or guardian must be a member of good standing with the GHB. The applicant must be enrolled in a college degree program during the 2020-2021 academic year. The applicant must submit an application form along with a transcript of grades and a typed essay, in 300 words or less, about a person or event that has been an inspiration. All documents must be received by the GHB by Monday, April 2, 2020, in order for the application to qualify for consideration. Application forms can be found online at www.ghb.com/scr, along with more details about the program.

既然公告的目的是宣布訊息，或者要求讀者做某件事，公告經常包括以下的要素：

Step 1: 快速判斷公告的目標讀者。
