天氣很糟，你卻只會說The weather is bad?

今年三四月的天氣一整個讓人很困惑~~
一下攀升到30度又艷陽高照，
一下跌到15度又颳風暴雨，
完全不像印象中的春天那種.舒.適.和.煦.的感覺。(好久沒有這樣的春天了)
更慘的是梅雨季又要開始逼近~~ (準備發黴+倒霉的天氣)
既然台灣的天氣這麼詭譎多變，我們看看有什麼不同的詞句來描述天氣!
 
天氣很熱的時候，如果只會說 It's hot就low掉了
●It's boiling hot. 熱到水就要沸騰了
●It's baking hot. 熱到和烤箱一樣
●Its burning hot. 熱到快燒焦了
●It's scorching hot. 熱到不行
●This weather is killing me. 這天氣快把我搞死了
 
天氣很不好的時候，如果只會說The weather is bad就out了
●It's drizzling. 下毛毛雨了
●There are thunder showers now. 現在下雷陣雨
●It's pouring rain. 傾盆大雨，意同It's raining cats and dogs.  相信連阿公阿媽都會
●It's raining like hell. 大雨下得很誇張  比較粗俗的說法 限熟人
●There is a light wind. 微風吹拂
●There is a gusty wind. 強風呼呼吹
●The wind is picking up. 風開始增強 pick up增加/增強
●There are a gusty wind and rain. 颳風又下雨
 
天氣很冷的時候，除了It's cold還可以說
●It's chilly. 很冷
●It's freezing (cold). 好凍
●It's freezing to the bone. 冷到刺骨
●It's brass monkey weather. 冷到不行 brass monkey黃銅猴
●I'm freezing my butt off. 我冷到屁股快凍僵了　 此用法，限熟人
●It's bracing. 冷得很清爽，代表說話者喜愛寒冷的天氣

Situation: Lucas is waiting for Cheryl at Taipei Arena. It's pouring rain outside.

L: Hey, ice queen. Look at you. You're soaking wet!
C: I got caught in a downpour. The wind is also picking up.
L: Didn't you check the weather forecast? There are thunder showers throughout the whole week.
C: I thought the sun was trying to come out this morning. There's not a cloud in the sky. Who knows the weather can change in a moment?!
L: It's April in Taiwan, you know. Last week it was only 15 degrees Celsius. I was freezing my butt off!
C: It's bracing to me, and that's nothing compared to Canada. It might drop below freezing in spring.
L: Are you kidding? I can't even imagine what it's like.
C: Actually we experience Indian summer there in winter. It can remain warm and clear for a few days.
L: So this weather is nothing for you, I guess.
C: Well, I just can't stand the summer in Taiwan. It's so scorching hot that all I want to do is stay in an air-conditioned room.
L: No wonder people call you "ice queen".
C: You can say that again. I feel a bit under the weather. (sneezing)
L: Put this scarf on. We can take a rain check if you need a rest.
C: How sweet. The weather is killing me!
 
情況：Lucas在台北體育場等Cheryl。外面正在傾盆大雨。

L：你怎麼啦，冰山美女。你渾身濕透了!
C：下大雨的時候我剛好在外面。風也開始增強。
L：你沒有看氣象報告嗎? 這週一直有雷陣雨。
C：我以為今天早上要開始放晴了。而且萬里無雲。誰知道天氣瞬息萬變?!
L：沒辦法，現在是台灣的四月。上禮拜只有15度。我冷到屁股快凍僵了!
C：對我來說冷得很清爽，而且和加拿大比這不算什麼。春天都可能降到零下。
L：真假? 我無法想像!
C：其實在冬天我們還會體驗到"印地安的夏天"。有幾天會持續溫暖又放晴。
L：那麼這種天氣對你來說沒什麼。
C：我只是無法忍受台灣的夏天。熱到不行讓我只想待在有冷氣的房間。
L：難怪人們叫你冰山美女。
C：沒錯。我有點不舒服 (打噴嚏)
L：穿上圍巾。你需要休息的話我們可以延期。
C：你真貼心。這天氣快把我搞死了!
